The Prophetic Leaders in Residence Program, funded by a three-year grant from the Jesse Ball duPont Fund, is designed to bring ground breaking theologians and practitioners in anti-poverty, justice and community ministries to campus to share a mutually enriching time with Drew students and faculty. This is an opportunity for students to witness firsthand innovative ministries and learn directly from those who practice prophetic ministry in their daily lives. It is also a time for Prophetic Leaders to take time out of their busy schedules to study, teach, write, reflect, and interact with students and faculty. Each prophetic leader will offer a chapel service and lunchtime discussion, an evening lecture, and visitations to various classes. They will also be available to interact with students in a number of informal gatherings. I trust that each of us will make time to meet and hear these Prophetic Leaders during the Spring 2010 semester.
